BBCare is a smart portable IOT device to monitor and analyse the fetal heart condition. It has AI smart sensing technology. Besides, this device is also able to monitor the condition of the fetal in real time by using a mobile based application which is connected wirelessly to the BBcare device. It will give alert messages to mom and doctor if she need to go to hospital so that born before arrival can be eradicated.Moms no longer need to present to the hospital frequently for the checkup and this not only save a lot of time but also prevent the emergency room of the hospital from facing overload problem.Fetal distress can also be anticipated and action can be taken to avoid it.

The remote diagnosis is performed through the web interface with sufficient information such as the pregnant lady’s name, contact number, counts of self-monitoring, the fetal condition as well as the signal graph.

Machine Learning Based analysis

The 2000+ medical data is then preprocessed to extract key features such as fetal heart rate acceleration, frequency of uterine contraction, et cetera. These key features are used to build & train our machine learning model.Eventually, with Random Forest algorithm in Azure ML, we managed to analyze and validate the data with accuracy as high as 90%.
